Samuel Rogers also known as “ Rock City Cobra” was born in Indiana to the proud parents of Dean Rogers Sr. and Rosalind Chesnut on November 24, 1982 and raised on the beautiful island of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He has two beautiful and athletic daughters La’Nia and Sha’Nia Rogers and is married to his wonderful wife La’Monique Rogers.
Samuel started his career in boxing as an amateur at the age of 15 with a record of 67-15- 21 KO’s. He won the bronze medal at the 2008 Pan Americas Games in Ecuador. Samuel is now a professional boxer with the title of WBC Fecabox Super Welterweight Champion and an outstanding career record of 15-2-8 KO’s.
Samuel has trained in Oxnard, California with former world champion Sergio Martinez who was Pound for Pound one of the best boxers in the world during his career.
In his spare time he goes around in his community to be a motivational speaker to youths and adults. Samuel continues to be a fighter in everything he does; whether it be in the gym working out, early morning runs, taking care of his family or assisting others. His favorite saying is “Train Hard, Fight Easy” which he truly lives up to.
